These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BizVerity (the “Platform”), including our website, apps, and related services. By accessing or using BizVerity, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1) Definitions

• “BizVerity,” “we,” “us,” “our” means BizVerity.
• “User,” “you,” “your” means anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.
• “Business” means a business, organization, or service provider listed on BizVerity.
• “Content” means text, ratings, reviews, photos, videos, messages, and other materials submitted or displayed on the Platform.

2) Platform Purpose

BizVerity provides a platform for discovering businesses, posting reviews and ratings, and promoting transparency through business profiles and optional verification features. BizVerity does not provide professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.

3) Eligibility and Account Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use BizVerity.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

4) Reviews, Ratings, and User Content

BizVerity relies on authentic experiences. When you post Content, you agree that it is truthful to the best of your knowledge and based on real experiences. You must not post Content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or that violates someone’s privacy or intellectual property rights.

5) Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews without clear disclosure
• Manipulate ratings, coordinate review campaigns, or engage in review gating
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users or businesses
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your relationship with a business
• Upload malware, attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Platform
• Use the Platform for unlawful activities or to violate applicable laws and regulations

6) Business Profiles, Claiming, and Responses

• Businesses may have listings created by BizVerity, users, or businesses themselves.
• Businesses may claim their profile and may be asked to verify ownership or authority.
• Businesses may respond to reviews, but must remain professional and must not harass or pressure reviewers.

7) Verification Features

BizVerity may offer verification badges or trust signals based on submitted information and checks. Verification indicates that certain details were reviewed at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of service quality, safety, legality, or performance, and it is not an endorsement.

8) Intellectual Property

BizVerity and its logos, design, software, and platform elements are owned by BizVerity or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without written permission.

9) Your License to BizVerity

When you submit Content to BizVerity, you grant BizVerity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and use that Content to operate, promote, and improve the Platform. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license.

10) Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may include links to third-party websites or services. BizVerity is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

11) Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Reviews and ratings reflect personal opinions and experiences. BizVerity does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Content, or that using the Platform will produce any specific results.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BizVerity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BizVerity harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Platform, or your violation of these Terms.

14) Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination

We may investigate potential violations and may remove Content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe there is misuse, fraud, legal risk, or harm to users, businesses, or the Platform.

15) Changes to the Platform and Terms

We may update the Platform and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required.

16) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to BizVerity’s operations, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where required by law, you may have additional rights in your country of residence.
